The renovation of this San Francisco home was done to accommodate a family of four. Primarily focusing on communal areas, the clients desired spaces where they could seamlessly transition from living comfortably to entering guests. This was achieved by creating simple spaces with dramatic features that would allow for casual living and impactful entertaining. A symmetrical living room with large scale furniture and lighting pieces provides ample seating while creating drama through its sense of scale. The kitchen and dining room follow these same design principles resulting in functional spaces where the carefully selected finishes and pieces create drama and scale.
