Ethan
Founder
After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Art History, he immediately transitioned into interior design. Ethan’s deep knowledge of the development of visuals art inform the way he build interior spaces. He applies the same formal process derived from visual analysis to the discipline of interior design. The engagement of artists and multiple perspectives was something he knew was necessary to produce rich design. He founded Studio Amarna to create a collaborative space where creatives, clients, and myself can all come together to produce design that is beautiful, functional, and personal.
Diego
Head Artist
Diego Flores is a Mexican-born, Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, constructed surfaces, and functional sculptural forms. His practice explores memory, ancestry, and emotional landscape through raw materials, gestural marks, and textured grounds that feel unearthed rather than made. Balancing abstraction with architectural presence, his work creates quiet, atmospheric spaces where surface, weight, and time present themselves.
Joshua
Head Creative
With a background in engineering, Josh brings a systems-driven approach to the studio’s design process, grounding bold visual ideas in structure, precision, and problem-solving. His work is driven by a belief that great spaces should be as intelligently built as they are visually striking, where materiality, proportion, and function are considered with the same rigor as visual composition. The result is design that feels intentional, timeless, and quietly powerful.
